Rikku – FFX2

The reason for this costume: This is my 2nd costume for me.
My friend and I wanted to go as Yuna and Rikku from FFX-2.
I always liked Rikku for her smile and she’s such a cute girl and full of energy.
Therefore I chose to team up with my friend and made both cosplays. We both had a lot of fun in this costume as it was our first convention and cosplay ever.
How I made it:
Bought the skirt and made it shorter. I also bought a thong and stitched those yellow cords on it. I made the bikini top and the arm warmers myself.
Found the scarf, headband and gloves on the market
I bought a pair of fake UGG’s and hand sewed the fabric on it just the way I wanted it.
Since I had problems with wig for my first cosplay I decided to buy hairpieces that I could clip in.
Thoughts on this costume: I had a lot of fun in this costume and I really felt like Rikku.
The costume was nice and warm thanks to the scarf and the UGG’s.
